Product Manager Cyber Security

The Product Manager is a servant leader who, within a VDE (Value Delivery Engine) Train, is responsible for securing and supporting building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs and generate business value over the product/service market lifecycle. Be accountable for IT Service Portfolio Management for the Train.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Securing the delivery of appropriate, secure, and reliable IT services throughout the life cycle in accordance with internal and external regulations, standards, and relevant Swedbank strategies
- Together with the RTE manage dependencies and deliverables in collaboration with other VDEs, vendors and other relevant parties.
- Develop, maintain, prioritize and follow up ART vision and roadmap
- Escalate unmitigated risks and backlog issues to relevant forums
- Ensure that APOs align with the prioritization done
- Provide input about future product development to relevant managers to ensure the ART has the right competences and resources
- Participate in different ART events, e.g. I&A, PI-Planning, ART Refinement, ART Sync meetings, system demos
- Participate in refining epics and features
- Participate in prioritizing epics and features for the ART, have content authority on program backlog and, if needed, also "veto-right" on the same in the ART Management Team.
- Contribute to relevant strategy work and ensure alignment towards Strategic Direction and Swedbank Strategies in collaboration with portfolio management
- Manage stakeholder expectations regarding deliveries
- Adherence to relevant established processes & frameworks
- Ensure delivery of potentially shippable products/services iteratively and incrementally, maximizing opportunities for feedback.
- Ensure that current and future competence and capacity needs are known and communicated to relevant stakeholders both within the Delivery and Competence organizations.
What is needed in this role:
Competence requirements
Education: Academic degree in either engineering, business administration, any other relevant discipline or proven work experience in the field
Work experience:
- Extensive experience from working with agile product management with relevant agile tools
- Extensive experience leading others
- Good understanding of software development and maintenance
- Experience with cyber security would be a plus, or alternatively experience with IT Service Management, IT Infrastructure such as Networks or Cloud
Agile way of working:
- Extensive experience in agile way of working and knowledge of relevant Swedbank agile development process
- Excel in effective program backlog management
- Experience in product discovery techniques
General skills:
- Strong ability to take on a holistic approach (optimizing for Swedbank as a whole)
- Excel in communication towards the ART, portfolio management, and other senior stakeholders
