iOS Software Engineer in Digital Lending

We are looking for an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join our two cross-functional agile teams consisting of Software Engineers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Team Manager. The team is located cross-border both in Lithuania and Sweden. We develop and maintain Lending solutions on the Mobile Bank and Internet Bank for almost 4 million customers in Sweden. We take a full responsibility of our deliveries – starting from an idea up to development and maintenance. It is exciting to work in the Lending area which is the key area in the bank and plays an important role in our customers’ financial life. In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Design, develop, deploy & maintain features in Mobile Bank iOS App
- Closely collaborate with UX designers and influence design decisions
- Continuously improve the quality of our products by proactively reducing technical depth and writing unit tests
- Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by our team to troubleshoot and resolve incidents

What is needed in this role:
- A relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience within IT
- 3+ years of experience with iOS development
- Strong Swift skills and a good understanding of modern iOS development, design patterns and architecture
- Experience with REST APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services and 3rd-party libraries or APIs
- A drive to write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- To enjoy teamwork and act as a team player in the international cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working
- To be curious and motivated to develop and improve your skills continuously, be an active member of Swedbank‘s App tech community
- Experience in agile way of working (preferable Scrum, SAFe frameworks)
- Fluency in English and good communication skills

- Dev. environment: Jenkins, GIT, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Gradle, any of - Eclipse, WebStorm, IntelliJ, VS Code
- Other: Jira, Confluence (wiki), MS Teams
