Are you passionate about Java, microservices and developing top quality services?

With us you have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain Loans area applications in Swedbank's high tech Internet Bank across Baltics market  
  • Have the freedom to work independently and together with senior people, from architecture, design questions to daily development tasks, as well as coach and lead other team members.
  • Work with technologies: 
    • Development: Java 8, Java 11, Microservices, Spring, Oracle DB, Linux
    • Build and automation: Jenkins, Gradle
    • Container platform: Docker, OpenShift
    • Test automation: Selenide (based on Selenium), JUnit

What you need in this role:

  • At least 3 years of experience with Java and analytical mindset ("why?" is our favourite question) 
  • Readiness to work in agile environment
  • OOP language skills (Java, Spring and etc)
  • Experience in writing Spring boot applications 
  • Communication and collaborative skills (good spoken and written English is a must)
  • Higher education in IT field (or relevant previous job experience) 
  • Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, OpenShift or similar); Oracle DB experience (reading or/and writing) and Lending business domain knowledge are considered as a bonus
