Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Community Manager who thrives in the fast-paced world of startups and innovation. In this role, you will not only be the glue that holds our community together but also a key player in scouting and attracting high-potential startups to join ROCKIT. Your efforts will directly contribute to the vibrancy of our community and the success of the startups we support.
In this role you have the opportunity to:
- Actively search for and identify innovative Lithuanian and regional startups with high growth potential to join ROCKIT’s acceleration programs.
- Collaborate with ROCKIT Kaunas/Klaipėda Community Manager on joint events and scouting efforts to enhance the startup ecosystem across Lithuania.
- Ensure an active and diverse calendar of community events at ROCKIT, designed to engage members and foster collaboration among startups, investors, and industry leaders.
- Represent ROCKIT at various conferences, ecosystem events, and networking opportunities, promoting our vision and building relationships with potential members and partners.
- Actively seek out connections with startups, investors, and corporate partners to expand ROCKIT’s network and enhance the community.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date information on ROCKIT’s members, companies, and the broader startup ecosystem.
- Conduct orientation tours for new members and informational tours for guests and potential members, showcasing ROCKIT’s value and community.
- Assist colleagues with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of ROCKIT and the ongoing success of our community.
What is needed in this role:
- Experience in the commercial, startup, or business sectors, with a strong understanding of startup dynamics is a big advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and represent ROCKIT’s mission externally.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate startups, coupled with strategic thinking to support the growth and development of the community.
- Responsive to the evolving needs of the community, with a flexible approach and can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- A self-motivated, positive, and open-minded individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English and Lithuanian languages.
