Senior Java Developer in Payments Baltic team

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using the Spring Framework;
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on OpenShift;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
- Use GitHub for version control, ensuring code quality through regular reviews;
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality;
- Implement messaging solutions using MQ (Message Queues), Kafka, or RabbitMQ;
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
What is needed in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development;
- Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC);
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift for container orchestration;
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration;
- Solid understanding of API development and integration (RESTful APIs);
- Experience with messaging systems such as MQ (Message Queues), Kafka, or RabbitMQ;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
