With us you have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a highly competent and dynamic compliance team supporting business on a wide range of topics
  • Provide proactive advice to the business in their daily operations as well as during regulatory implementation and complex case-specific questions
  • Work with stakeholders both in Sweden and cross-border
  • Further develop your competence in other regulatory areas including data protection, market conduct, customer protection, and financial crime
  • Work with a wide variety of products and offerings, ranging from Client Coverage, Payments, Markets, Investment Banking to Treasury and beyond
  • Take part in planning and executing risk-based activities
  • Take part in annual and ongoing risk-based planning and quarterly reporting
  • Develop and perform tailored trainings to the business and management
  • Take a role in further developing Group Compliance’s processes and ways of working to reach further excellence globally

What you need in this role:

  • Extensive regulatory knowledge and practical experience – minimum 5-10 years-in the securities and capital markets and associated financial services from working in a bank or another financial institution,
  • A profound knowledge in MiFiD, EMIR, MAD/MAR, SFTR and a good knowledge of commercial and wholesale banking
  • A thorough understanding of capital markets regulation
  • Team player and service-minded
  • Good analytical skills
  • Detailed oriented and thorough, however not forgetting the big picture
  • Changes in focus, priority and topics are common occurrences in the job, hence you will be expected to be flexible and pragmatic
  • Will to cooperate cross border
  • Swedsec control function license (can be obtained after employment)
  • Master’s in law or economics is preferable
  • Possess communication skills and ability to present matters fluently in English, orally and verbally
