A highly competent Risk Management is instrumental to operational excellence and to our business. The Operational Risk Manager is part of the Business Governance Team and has the overall responsibility for Operational Risk Management in Swedbank Pay. You report to Head of Business Governance, a common unit part of the function Regulation & Governance.

Our Business Governance department is made up of 6 co-workers, who work daily to support the business in first line risk management, handling operational regulatory compliance, business process management and business continuity management. As one of our co-workers, our very appreciated Operational Risk Manager Christin Wetterberg, will go on parental leave in May, we now look for someone to fill her shoes during her 10 months leave.

More about the position As first line Operational Risk Manager in Swedbank Pay you participate in Risk Based Planning, ensure proper risk reporting in the Business Area and manage our risk library. One of your main responsibilities will be to support in all risk assessment (NPAP and RVA).

You participate in regular risk meetings together with Second Line Risk in PayEx to which you also report quarterly. You plan and drive our Risk Forum and also execute internal training in risk awareness.

You will work closely together with other units in PayEx and in cooperation with relevant contacts in Swedbank.

We are looking for someone that: Embraces the view that Risk Management is a vital support to our Business. You love solving problems, have great integrity and documented planning and prioritizing skills to manage a varied and pressurized workload. As the role involves working with different parties you need excellent co-operation, communication and networking skills.

We also think it’s good if you have:

• University degree within Business/IT or relevant working experience
• Several years of experience from card business and/or related areas
• You need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
