Strategic Transformation Associate – Structural Cost PMO

- To drive Swedbank’s group transformation, Structural Cost PMO plays a key role. Structural Cost PMO acts as internal management consultants, leveraging the consultancy toolbox to deliver exceptional results in terms of increasing Swedbank’s overall profitability. This could include taking the role as project/program managers in initiatives within the categories company structure, process efficiency or sourcing/outsourcing with the ambition to increase achieve tangible bottom-line P&L results. To continue doing this, we are now seeking a new talent to strengthen our small team of ambitious professionals.

Utilize the management consultancy toolbox and an ambitious mind-set to support and drive Swedbank’s transformation to increase profitability and accelerate operational efficiency, e.g.:
- Act as program/project manager in structural cost initiatives
- Initiate programs/projects including suggesting scope, suitable setup and workstreams, and required cross functional team resources and expertise
- Build fact base foundation to create a common understanding of current way of working, establishing baseline and business cases, identify improvement potentials and conduct market analysis
- Follow-up status and progression of multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams to reach common objectives and targets
- Lead change management involving many stakeholders across large parts of the Swedbank organization
- Prepare implementation of new solutions and transformations related to initiatives within company structure, process efficiency and/or sourcing/outsourcing
What is needed in this role:

Two to three years’ experience within one the following areas:
- Experience from advanced and complex analytical work e.g., management consultancy at top tier firm or similar
- Experience from business development and/or driving change/improvements from start to end
- Educational degree – Master’s degree in Engineering/Science (and preferably a second degree in Business, Economics or similar)
- Fully fluent in written and oral English and Swedish
- Genuine interest in technology (Swedbank’s transformation always has an element of IT into it)
- Advanced user of the consultancy toolbox, e.g. presentations and analysis
The strategic transformation associate has high qualifications and a proven track record in terms of:
- Drive & Aspiration – Strong sense of ownership in all deliverables to deliver with high quality, timely and effective results, at all times
- Analytics – Capacity to structure, analyze and synthesis large data sets in a time effective way
