If you are passionate about JAVA, Microservices Architecture and want to be at the front of this journey to change our Internet Bank ( backend) application, then we are looking for You!

We are cross functional team having product owner, business analyst and Software engineers in one team and working together on daily basis. Team is located in Tallinn and Vilnius, and we provide services to millions of customers in the Baltics.

In Loans Digital team you have an opportunity to:

  • Decide together with team how to build the solution within architecture frames;
  • Contribute in all Ibank development areas: analyse, design, develop, test and maintain services;
  • Strive for high level of automation of the tasks;
  • Proactively seek and give feedback on the delivered code/functionality to improve over time;
  • Drive innovations within the team and beyond;
  • Participate in different initiatives across Swedbank (ex. CI/CD, QA);
  • Get access to e-trainings and conferences to support your growth.

What is needed in this role:

  • Proactive, team and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Experience in OOP language skills (Java, Spring, Spring Boot and etc);
  • Analytical mindset (‘Why is our favourite question’);
  • Collaboration and communication skills – listen, ask questions, build trust;
  • Proficient English, spoken and written;
  • Higher education in IT field (or relevant previous job experience).

Additional benefits:

  • Experience with microservices and containerization;
  • Oracle DB experience (reading or/and writing);
  • Scrum development experience -> possibility to try Scrum Master role if interested;
  • Lending business domain knowledge.

Technology Stack we use:

  • Development: Java 8, Java 11, Microservices, REST, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle DB, Linux;
  • Build and automation: Jenkins, Gradle;
  • Container platform: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift;
  • Test automation:  Selenium (based on Selenide), JUnit.
