• Drive strategic initiatives related to compliance risk assurance and reporting, and continually enhance Swedbank’s risk posture.
• Define and deliver comprehensive compliance reports and KPI/KRI frameworks, ensuring transparent and concise communication of key risk information to the Board and executive management.
• Help shape the bank of the future, where your curiosity and creative thinking will enable us to adapt to new regulatory requirements and evolving risks.
• Explore and implement innovative approaches with GenAI and advanced ICT solutions to streamline risk oversight and compliance.

What is needed in this role:

• 5+ years of experience as risk or compliance officer, or as consultant in the field, with demonstrated experience in leading complex change or strategic transformation in the financial sector. You are skilled at engaging multiple stakeholders in large organizations, and adept at planning, implementing, and following up on risk assurance and compliance processes.
• Solid expertise in non-financial risk management, including the ability to establish risk appetite statements, apply quantitative metrics to develop robust KPI/KRI frameworks to evaluate and report on risk exposure, and perform compliance risk assessments and compliance activity planning.
• Proven ability to produce concise and to the point compliance reports for senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Interest and experience with GenAI and ICT; you are curious, creative, and comfortable exploring new technology to advance compliance and risk oversight.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both in written and spoken form.
• High level of autonomy and self-drive, coupled with a collaborative approach; you excel at problem-solving and taking initiative.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent deep work experience in a related field.
