Financial Sanctions Regulatory Specialist – Economic Crime Prevention

- Together with a great team of talented specialists work with Financial Crime regulations within an international environment, with colleagues in Norway, Finland, New York, Shanghai and the Baltic countries.
- Interpret external and internal regulations within Financial Sanctions to determine the impact for Swedbank.
- Establish and update internal frameworks and support implementation within the business areas.
- Advise and support the economic crime prevention organisation, customer organisations and senior management.
- Collaborate with group functions and the business areas within the bank.
- Together with experienced colleagues coordinate and run projects within Financial Sanctions.
- Support with regulatory expertise to Group wide Financial Sanctions trainings.
- Be part of the continued building of Strategic Management and Advice unit in the Economic Crime Prevention organisation
What is needed in this role:
- A bachelor or master’s degree in law.
- 5-7yrs documented experience working in a senior role with governance and framework within Financial Sanctions at a bank or other financial institution or competent authority.
- The ability to work independently in a structured and organised manner. Proactive and helpful attitude, high integrity, solution oriented and relation building team player.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to express yourself in English, orally and in writing. Including the ability to present complex matters in a simple and understandable way.
Desired experience:
- Regulatory competence in Governance.
- Project lead.
- Using artificial intelligence as a tool in daily work with regulations and frameworks.
