Customer Engagement Strategist

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth by designing customer journeys and advanced marketing automation strategies that achieve business results and enable seamless omni-channel experiences.
- Drive sales and engagement via Next Best Actions (NBAs) within a dedicated business area/segment, acting as the single point of contact.
- Define and prioritise business-driven NBA communications across all channels.
- Manage the implementation of new NBAs within marketing automation platforms, owning the end-to-end process from planning to target group definition to briefing and execution.
- Ensure performance tracking and reporting, using data to evaluate impact and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Optimize channel usage and performance, ensuring NBA communications are timely, relevant, and impactful.
What is needed in this role:
- Deep experience in data-driven 1:1 communication, marketing automation, digital sales and customer journey orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms and personalization based on customer data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A track record of driving measurable improvements in engagement, sales conversion, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience from the financial sector, or a similar B2C industry.
- Proven experience working cross-functionally and leading initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Ability to independently set a roadmap, prioritise and lead improvement work.
- Analytical mindset—able to translate data into actionable insights and prioritize opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence in a matrix organization.
- Great interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
- Proactive and resourceful with ability to turn problems into solutions.
- High degree of self-leadership, ownership, and proactive problem-solving.
- Strong project management and presentation skills.
- A collaborative team player who is curious, open to change, and always seeking improvement.
