In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Be part of every step in the software lifecycle working on design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain web services, APIs, frontend and backend applications.
• Embrace the DevOps mindset, “you build it, you run it”. Actively contribute to DevOps processes.
• Take care of daily operations, manage maintenance activities and ensure good delivery quality.
• Work with testing and verification of new functionality.
• Write efficient code with use of existing libraries and leverage output using AI-code assistants.
• In collaboration with solution architects and quants, determine the technical approach for integrating new algorithms into the existing application framework.
• Ensure that our solutions follow the bank's security and regulatory guidelines, are properly documented and integrated with existing monitoring and logging solutions.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments including IT, finance, risk management, and compliance.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement through technology adoption, automation, and optimization.

What is needed in this role:

• Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in software development and maintenance.

• Strong expertise in backend programming using languages such as Python, C# and JAVA, database programming in SQL and SSIS, and proficiency in RestAPIs and JSON.

• Knowledge of various front-end technologies / reporting solutions and web design tools - JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, Qlik, Microstrategy, Power BI.

• Experience working on and configuring Windows Server, SQL Server and IIS platforms.

• Familiarity with deploying using CICD-pipelines and using code repositories like Bitbucket or GitHub Actions.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with outstanding communication abilities both written & verbal.

• Fluent in English and Swedish.

• Knowledge of financial instruments and valuation theory is a bonus.
