Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract management and change management for one of the key SaaS suppliers in GCP in line with overall business objectives. Collaborate with diverse teams, including project members, suppliers, and partners.
- Develop and implement Contract Management Plans. Anticipate contractual risks and propose effective solutions to maintain control.
- Conduct meticulous analysis of contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Regularly update the Core Project Team on contract status and changes.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring all contractual milestones are met. Issue timely contractual notices as needed.
- Establish commercial procedures for correspondence, change requests/orders.
- Manage all aspects of contract amendments and extensions.
- Track payment schedules and manage invoices efficiently.
- Handle claims or counterclaims by preparing necessary documentation for negotiations.
- Ensure supplier compliance with Swedbank’s terms.
- Deliver training sessions on contract management to key stakeholders.
- Evaluate whether services should be extended, phased out, or modified.
This role requires strong people management skills and attention to detail safeguard Swedbank's business interests through exemplary contract management practices.
What is needed in this role:
- A university degree in finance, law or engineering.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a contract management, legal or equivalent role.
- Experience from retail banking, cards/payments or management consulting desirable but not a requirement.
- A commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A transparent and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in Swedish and English (both spoken and written).
