BCM & Resilience Senior Specialist –Testing and Exercises

Swedbank is looking for a highly motivated Senior BCM & Resilience Specialist with a strong focus on BCM Testing and Exercises to join our BCM & Resilience Function. This is a key role where you will shape and lead our testing and exercise framework, ensuring the Group’s preparedness for critical events while supporting business areas across the organisation.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Be part of a team of BCM-professionals who work with senior management in all lines of businesses to oversee and coordinate BCM activities.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Group BCM Framework, tools and methodologies.
- Support the adaption and integration of the BCM Framework across Swedbank Group, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve the Group-wide BCM testing and exercise program.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee large-scale exercises activities at Group level.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and methodology support to the organisation.
- Lead scenario development and maintain a comprehensive scenario library.
- Produce clear reports highlighting resilience capabilities, strengths and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate post-incident reviews and embed lessons learned into ongoing resilience efforts.
- Support team members in ingoing activities, projects and ad hoc issues within the BCM & Resilience Unit.
What is needed in this role:
- Previous experience in the field of BCM and Crisis Management, minimum 7-10 years.
- Solid experience in BCM testing and exercising.
- A relevant university degree or equivalent.
- Proficient knowledge of the regulatory requirements related to BCM and the financial sector (e.g., SFSA’s Regulations and General Guidelines, EBA Guidelines, DORA, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of BCM Frameworks and international standards (e.g ISO 22301, IS0 27031 etc). Relevant BCM qualifications confirmed by certification would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite (e.g CBCI, MBCI)
- Experience of developing frameworks, processes and guidelines at Group level.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and report compliance and performance metrics.
- High level of English and Swedish proficiency (both written and spoken)
