Quality Assurance Lead

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Develop Testing Strategy: Build and own Non-Life Insurance area (end-to-end) testing strategy for legacy systems as well as for new SaaS solution to ensure all products are high quality and reliable before deployment;
Enhance Testing Processes: Review existing testing methods, suggest changes and help to execute improvements;
Lead QA Team (without direct subordinates): Guide the quality assurance team towards automating testing solutions, provide trainings for testing and development team;
Define Test Plans: Work with your team to create detailed test plans focusing on IT and user acceptance testing;
Define quality: Work out, monitor and report on quality metrics of testing;
Documentation: Ensure accurate records of testing activities are kept;
Collaborate with teams: Work with development, product management, maintenance teams and other stakeholders to integrate testing smoothly into projects.
What is needed in this role:
QA Strategy Design: Experience in creating end-to end QA strategy for legacy systems and SaaS products and processes;
Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading QA teams on complex projects. Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Automated Testing Skills: Previous Hands-on experience with automated software testing tools;
Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of legacy systems and SaaS architectures;
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues in development processes, propose and execute effective solutions;
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business, economics, or a related field;
English Proficiency: Professional fluency in both spoken and written English.
