Software Engineer in Insurance

In Swedbank P&C Insurance you have the opportunity to:
Create high quality code, thorough testing and review processes;
Design high performance, reliable Java applications;
Collaborate with teams to perform system analysis, define, design, and ship new features while taking full responsibility for projects;
Own the operation of our team’s services, taking charge of troubleshooting and resolving incidents when they arise.
What is needed in this role:
3 years of experience in Java development;
Experience with PL/SQL within Oracle relational databases
Being proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and responsible while demonstrating self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively;
Accountability by meeting deadlines and achieving project goals while continuously seeking feedback and opportunities for personal growth;
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Considered as an advantage:
Knowledge of Insurance domain business and/or IT system;
Ability to lead the projects;
Presentation and communication skills;
Java, Oracle database certifications;
Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in related field;
Experience in agile way of working.
