In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Simulate Swedbank's income statement and capital ratios in comprehensive bank stress tests.
  • Develop and evaluate macroeconomic scenarios used for capital adequacy purposes.
  • Contribute to and evaluate Swedbank's capital plan including forecasts and modelling of various capital needs, e.g. pension risk.
  • Analyse impact from regulatory and industry developments on the bank's capital situation, targeted towards senior management.

What is needed in this role:

  • A university degree in economics, finance, mathematics or statistics
  • Work experience with analytical tasks, e.g. in a risk or treasury department of a financial institution
  • Knowledge of SAS programming, Excel and preferably experience in database queries
  • Familiarity with regulatory capital frameworks, accounting and financial modelling.

We work with large amounts of data from different aspects of Swedbank’s balance sheet. Therefore you need to have a quantitative background and ability to solve problems of high complexity in a structured way, most often with some programming involved. Many of our tasks are carried out in close cooperation with other units and specialists so it is important that you like to share your ideas, coordinate and contribute when working with others.
