Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and creative Head of Marketing, Communications & Events who lives and breathes innovation, storytelling and community. In this role, you’ll shape how ROCKIT shows up to the world - online, on stage and across the startup ecosystem. You will lead our social media and communication strategy, bring ROCKIT’s stories to life, and create events that connect founders, investors and change-makers. Your work will directly influence how the ecosystem sees, feels and experiences ROCKIT - both digitally and in real life.
What You Will Do:
Event Planning, Hosting & Partnerships
- Lead ROCKIT’s event calendar – from concept to execution (startup conferences, accelerator demo days, panel discussions, partner events).
- Plan and deliver ROCKIT’s own events and experiences for our members and the wider ecosystem.
- Host and coordinate events organised by external ecosystem actors in ROCKIT’s premises.
- Build partnerships with startups, accelerators, universities, investors and ecosystem organisations to co-create joint events.
- Source and manage speakers, moderators, guests and international partners.
- Oversee logistics, technical setup, timelines and smooth on-site execution.
- Collect feedback, measure event impact and continuously improve participant experience.
Social Media & Communications
- Develop and execute ROCKIT’s content and social media strategy (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, newsletter).
- Build a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
- Analyse audience behaviour, test new formats (video, interviews, reels, interactive content) and optimise for engagement and reach.
- Monitor conversations, respond to community messages and professionally manage sensitive or crisis situations online.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing/communications and/or event organization.
- Experience planning and executing events (small meetups to larger conferences or community events).
- Strong written and spoken communication skills both in English and Lithuanian.
- Creativity, ownership mindset, project management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Canva, Google Analytics, Meta/LinkedIn Ads Manager, Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- Experience in the startup or innovation ecosystem is an advantage.
