GDPR Specialist, Group Data Protection & AI Governance

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Work in Swedbank Group’s first line data protection team, which is responsible for the Group’s operational framework and processes around data protection.
- Be part of an exciting change journey: Swedbank is currently implementing a new privacy management tool as well as further improving quality and effectiveness in our data protection work.
- Ensure that GDPR compliance is achieved in a way that ensures user friendliness and alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the Group’s operational framework and processes around data protection, as well as ensuring sufficient follow-ups and controls.
- Provide regulatory expertise, support and trainings to practitioners in Swedbank’s privacy network.
- Ensure that GDPR processes are well documented, supported by adequate tools and regularly evaluated.
- Design and implement relevant metrics that reflect Swedbank’s data protection objectives, and that can effectively demonstrate compliance with internal and external regulations.
What is needed in this role:
- Legal specialisation or equivalent certified expertise in GDPR/data protection.
- Proven track record in implementing or improving data protection related processes and or frameworks.
- Good ability to explain data protection requirements in a pedagogical way.
- Experience from using data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik Sens, Power BI) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and structured.
- Excellent communication skills, including in both Swedish and English.
- Great collaboration, networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Great self-leadership skills.
