Technical Lead - Data in Economic Crime Prevention

Be a part of a prioritized area of Swedbank and play a key role ensuring that Swedbank has an updated and functioning AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and help make accurate data driven solutions based on advance analytics to combat financial crime and lower risk.
Develop, manage and maintain data to provide robust and reliable analytical solutions to drive insights and make informed decisions.
Work as a team and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data match requirements, quality, availability, performance and insight

What is needed in this role:
We seek individuals with a desire to develop reliable and transparent data, with experience including:
• Self-starter with previous proven data development experience, working with new functionalities
• Prior experience in the role, providing technical guidance, architect solutions and mentor data engineers and team to ensure successful delivery and maintain high quality
• Prioritising simple and effective data flows that deliver business needs
• Previous experience, working with SAFe and agile based deliveries (meriting)
In-depth technical knowledge covering:
• Proven experience of working with new technologies and advanced platforms (preferably Snowflake or Databricks) and data warehouses.
• Hands-on with building solutions, data integration, transformation (ETL) and end-to-end implementation together with other Data Engineers
• Proven experience with data modelling, defining and developing data entities, structures and relationships and ensuring consistency
• Prior experience in building data products based on data mesh architecture (meriting)
• Hands-on with programming in SQL. Python and/or Java
Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, including:
• Connecting with stakeholders across the organisation to help them get the most out of data
• Interest in the bigger picture to help define and prioritize work from both technical and business perspectives
• Clear understanding of technical, functional/non-functional requirements
Good to have:
• Experience working within highly regulated sectors, i.e Banking and Financial services, having knowledge and understanding on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) functions
• Has leveraged advanced analytics to help combat economic crime and lower risk
