The Investment Center (IC) is a newly established unit within the Business Area Premium and Private Banking (P&PB). The IC is responsible for products, services and advisory within the savings area for the entire Swedish business. The IC consist of around 200 employees, organised into six units with a wide and deep range of relevant competences.

We are aiming for a market leading customer and advisor experience and are now looking for a senior and people-oriented manager to head the unit, reporting directly to Head of P&PB and being part of the management team. This is a crucial role for Swedbank’s customer-centric, profitable growth journey. We hope you will bring innovation, knowledge and solid structures to our new team!

This is Investment Center in summary:

• Owns the entire ecosystem for the savings domain, enabling efficient and value creating distribution across the three Swedish Business Areas for all customer segments.

• Holds the product ownership responsibility for mutual funds, exchange-traded instruments, custody accounts, asset management services, life as well as non-life insurance, advisory services and self-service – all with full lifecycle scope.

• Owns the product selection.

• Provides requirements and prioritization towards relevant development units on behalf of the Swedish Business Areas according to Swedbank’s IT development process.

• Provides advisory and savings support; and provides analytics and insights for both its own purposes and the Swedish business.

• Manages all mid- and back-office operations for the products in scope (except insurance).

• Holds full legal and regulatory responsibility for the products and services in scope.

Your responsibilities:

• IC Products & Self-service

Functional ownership of all products and custody accounts, both towards the customer and the advisor channels. This also includes execution only and guidance, i.e. how products are presented in our channels. Main source of requirements towards development units via Business Owners.

• IC Advisory

Functional ownership of all advisory services to all segments in Sweden, including the Financial Plan, towards customer and advisor channels as applicable. Main source of requirements towards development units via Business Owners.

• IC Asset Management Services

Functional ownership of Discretionary Portfolio Management and Advisory Portfolio Management. Responsibility for product selection. Operational responsibility and product ownership of Discretionary Portfolio Management services. Main source of requirements towards development units via Business Owners.

• IC Implementation & Support

Savings support, advisory support and savings analytics.

• Order and Asset Services (operations)

Mid and back office for mutual funds and exchange traded instruments (ETIs(, including derivatives. Order management for ETIs.

• IC Business Owners

The Business Areas’ representatives towards the development units according to Swedbank’s IT development model (based on SAFe). Focus on operational and tactical requirements and priorities.

• Product Governance

Monitoring and regulatory control of distributed products and services. Product and process governance.

What is needed in this role:

• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead at a senior level (minimum having led other leaders).

• Proven ability to deliver in a fast changing and complex stakeholder environment.

• Team player with the ability to tell a compelling story.

• Strategic height and proven experience of driving transformation programs.

• Ability to build and maintain solid processes and organisational structures.

• Ability and willingness to add value at both the strategic, tactical and operational level.

• Deep understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation and product selection.

• Deep understanding of the full lifecycle for the products and services in scope.

• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, as well as operational and commercial needs.

• Experience of IT development process (SAFe), including front-end delivery.

• Licenses: Swedsec - Ledning och kontrollfunktioner (MiFID) and Försäkringsdistributionsrätt - Ledning och kontrollfunktioner (IDD).
