What is needed in this role:

• The DB2 for z/OS DBA is responsible for the design, configuration, performance, security, and availability of DB2 databases running on IBM z/OS.

• The role ensures mission‑critical workloads meet stringent SLAs for availability, latency, throughput, and compliance.

• The DBA partners with application teams, infrastructure, and security to deliver resilient database platforms, optimize costs (MIPS/MSU, licensing), enable safe change, and support continuous delivery

• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to support other teams during complex installations or upgrades.

• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
