Temporary position
Are you a detail-oriented, analytical final-year student – or someone available for a full-time temporary position right away?
We are looking for a motivated temporary hire who can join us either part-time alongside their studies this spring, or in a full-time capacity from the start. The role will be full-time during the summer, and for the right candidate there may be an opportunity to continue in a full-time position in the autumn.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Learn how international payments and financial processes operate end-to-end
• Contribute to the development of our treasury and payment processes
• Work closely with various departments and build insight and understanding of banking operations, how the bank works
What is needed in this role:
• You are either in the final year of a business, finance, or technology-related degree or have relevant experience that enables you to step into a full-time temporary role
• You are motivated by operational work and enjoy being close to day-to-day processes and problem solving
• You bring an analytical and structured way of working, and are comfortable with tasks requiring precision and accuracy
• You learn new systems quickly and are confident navigating complex processes
• You have an interest in payments and financial infrastructures (experience is an advantage, but not required)
• You communicate clearly and professionally in both Norwegian and English
• You collaborate well with others and work in an organized, solution oriented, and professional manner
We are looking for someone who is curious, thorough and enjoys understanding the mechanics behind financial and technical processes.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operational execution og payment processing and liquidity management at the branch, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of all related transactions and activities.
• Handling incoming and outgoing international payments
• Currency exchange and exchange rate setting
• Funding and disbursement of loans and credits
• Spot/FX transactions
• Participation in treasury and payment-related projects
• Provide general support related to payments and the bank’s funding activities
