Leveraged Finance holds the global client responsibility for Private Equity clients within Swedbank and is responsible for all parts of the debt origination towards the segment, including evaluating, structuring and executing acquisition financing and related Investment Banking and other products. You will join a team (located in Stockholm and Helsinki) of highly motivated and skilled colleagues supporting transactions in the Nordics.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Become part of the Leveraged Finance team which holds the global client responsibility for structuring and arranging acquisition financing for Private Equity clients within Swedbank

• Become an integral part of diverse project teams, always including a Leveraged Finance project leader as well as other internal and external specialists. You will be involved in analysing and negotiating present and prospective financing transactions across various sectors

• Develop your financial analysis skills with an emphasis on financial modelling, market- and corporate analysis, structuring and presenting the analysis in writing as well as orally to relevant stakeholders and decision makers. You will get a chance to analyse different business models and how they will generate cash flow over time, all with support from extensive information provided by consultants/experts and experienced colleagues

What is needed in this role:

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree

• Strong academic record specializing in finance, accounting and/or economics with high proficiency in Excel

• Curiosity for capital markets and business

• Analytical, social and cooperative skills

• Previous experience within Investment Banking, Transaction Services advisory or similar is meriting

• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, with fluency in English and Swedish

• The ability to cope with a high workload in projects with tight deadlines
