Technical Business Analyst

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Collaborate closely with Swedbank Group IT delivery teams to ensure Baltic AFC business needs are accurately translated into practical and efficient technical solutions.
Support and coordinate interactions with business representatives across all Baltic countries to help clarify expectations, refine requirements, and ensure alignment of Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, and Fraud Prevention processes.
Provide analytical input to prioritization discussions by assessing impacts, dependencies, and business value.
Contribute to problem solving and incident analysis when unexpected behavior appears in AFC systems.
Support testing activities (e.g., reviewing test cases, validating requirements, orchestrating business-side acceptance testing).
What is needed in this role:
University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Information Technology, or another relevant field – or a compelling alternative background.
4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst (AML/KYC or broader AFC experience strongly preferred).
Understanding of financial services, risk management, and regulatory expectations related to AFC.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience with SQL, Python, plus advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Qlik Sense, SPSS, or BI tools are an advantage.
Curiosity and drive to understand IT systems, data flows, and organizational processes.
Excellent English communication and ability to collaborate across Baltic, Swedish, and cross‑functional teams.
Structured, detail‑oriented, proactive, and strong in problem‑solving.
High ownership and accountability for decisions and deliverables.
Strong self‑leadership and ability to work independently.
