Junior Specialist - Quality Assurance Software Engineer

We are looking for Junior Specialist - Quality Assurance Software Engineer to join and grow in our pan-Baltic agile team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliveries for mission critical account services used by thousands of our customers.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with a cross-functional Accounts Baltic team across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia;
Validate secure and efficient payment transactions within Swedbank and across the EU and global markets;
Put your theoretical know-how into practice by promoting best practices in testing;
Start delivering high-value solutions to customers and users with speed, quality, and stability;
Navigate complex areas of accounts services, learning and adapting to new challenges daily.
What is needed in this role:
Basic familiarity with Agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum; SAFe);
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
Awareness of core QA methodologies and shift-left testing principles (testing early in the SDLC);
Ability to identify system errors, reproduce them, and clearly describe them in a task format;
Strong enthusiasm for learning about product quality, testing practices and test automation tools (e.g., Java, Selenium, TestNG);
Ability to work well in team settings, contributing ideas and supporting peers.
Fluency in English and at least one Baltic language.
Bonus points for hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira), working in Scrum teams, or contributions to test automation.
