Area Manager in Customer Value - Communication Team

We are looking for an Area Manager who takes full ownership of automated marketing - from strategy to execution and measurable business outcomes. This role combines leadership, business understanding, customer insights, data and execution to create tangible impact across.
What you will do:
Own the marketing automation strategy, roadmap, and execution within the digital and daily banking area;
Drive digital sales growth from automated offers across daily banking products;
Act as the main subject matter expert for the business area, tools, and communication channels;
Lead a team: manage, coach, and grow three specialists, fostering both operational excellence and professional development;
Collaborate closely with development, marketing, product, analytics, digital growth teams;
Test, learn and iterate by running structured experiments to improve messaging and placement strategies;
Lead strategic initiatives within your area of responsibility.
What we are looking for:
Offering experience: 3+ years in marketing automation, CRM or performance marketing, with a solid understanding of customer journeys, acquisition, and conversion funnels;
Collaboration skills: proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholders;
Leadership potential: building teams, setting goals and enabling people to perform and grow;
Strong digital background: understanding of how data, tools, and channels drive results;
Hands-on operator with a strategic mindset: comfortable working with campaign details, analytics tools and product flows, while connecting them to the bigger business picture;
Ownership mindset: you take responsibility not just for actions, but for outcomes;
Excellent collaboration skills: you speak both Technical and Marketing fluently;
Highly data-driven and metrics-focused, confident using dashboards and analytics to drive decisions.
Hard skills needed:
Marketing automation platforms: Pega Marketing, Unica;
Bank owned channels orchestration: from push notifications to calling lists;
Customer journey management: engagement and lifecycle management;
Reporting & analysis tools: Qlik Sense and BO reports, MS Office skills;
Collaboration tools: Sharepoint (OCP), Jira, Confluence/Wiki.
