Are you the one to transform data, analytics and AI into measurable business impact? We are looking for a Business Architect who will be instrumental in shaping capabilities, tools and approaches to leverage our data and grow our business.

In this role, you will lead capability design that empower our data science teams.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Drive innovation from business perspective by utilizing modern technologies to create competitive advantage from bank’s data assets. Build capabilities and shape the Swedish Banking data landscape by being core contributor in translating business strategies into scalable solutions with a focus on event processing, machine learning and advanced AI solutions.

• Work across complex, multi-domain areas by keeping holistic view of business capabilities, assessing impacts across processes, platforms and data flows, guiding Swedish Banking to the optimal mix of IT investments to meet strategic targets and deliver business value.

• Collaborate in cross-functional trams with IT-architects, domain architects, engineers, data scientists and business owners to deliver impactful, efficient and scalable solutions.
  

What is needed in this role:

• A university degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in business architecture or related roles, preferably in data-centric transformation initiatives. Experience in banking or financial services (3+ years), with a solid understanding of the risk and regulatory impacts related to data usage.

• Hands-on knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks), streaming technologies, and analytical frameworks. Experience working with modern data architecture principles (e.g. data as a product, data as a service), data governance frameworks and various data architecture patterns.

• Familiarity with analytics, AI and machine learning integration into business processes. Ability to translate business strategies into solution hypotheses and manage multiple senior stakeholders throughout the process.

• Excellent communication skills, both using words and visuals to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Fluency in English, Swedish proficiency is an advantage.
