Software Engineer (Procurement IT)

Develop and maintain Procurement IT applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform
Implement AI-driven use cases (e.g., AI-powered search, recommendations, automation, and data enrichment)
Develop integrations using REST APIs and other standard integration platforms
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems) into data platform
Collaborate with architects and the team to produce high-level and/or detailed solution designs based on requirements
Support internal stakeholders and the Product Owner in balancing lifecycle management, maintenance, regulatory requirements, and development activities
Build and continuously expand your understanding of the business within the value stream
Participate in and contribute to the full development lifecycle—from initial analysis and requirement gathering to development and ongoing maintenance
Manage update sets, instance cloning, and version upgrades across different environments
What is needed in this role:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
At least 3 years of proven experience in ServiceNow development
Proficiency in JavaScript and the ServiceNow scripting framework, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design pattern concepts
Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal, Employee Center, or front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS)
Familiarity with data lake technologies (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Lake)
Exposure to AI capabilities within ServiceNow
Experience with ServiceNow TPRM, BCM, and ITBM modules is considered an advantage
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Prior experience working with international teams
