Head of Tech Sweden, Group Payments & Accounts

Your responsibilities:
Be an experienced leader with the overall accountability and responsibility for the Tech unit within Group Payments & Accounts Sweden, responsible for building a new IT infrastructure and products to support our customers.
Be instrumental in leading and driving the Tech unit’s execution of the current transformation plan, as well as the strategy going forward.
Be a leader of leaders who builds trust, inspires people, and shows courage.
Promote and nurture a strong collaboration culture across the different units within the bank to accelerate our business goals and joint commitment.
Aligning your work and the unit’s contribution to the bank’s strategic direction.
Define the target state and roadmap together with stakeholders across the bank, ensuring a solid investment plan and priorities based on group common priorities as well as customer and business needs.
Together with stakeholders from across the bank set priorities for the delivery of the investment plan and take responsibility for the execution of that plan.
Be accountable for both the development and maintenance of secure, scalable, and adaptable IT solutions and services.
Continuously improve and optimise the unit’s capabilities to ensure efficient ways of working within the unit to enable development at pace.
Building your unit to be an efficient and successful organisation.
Lead financial planning and performance monitoring.
Lead resource planning and monitor resource utilization.
What is needed in this role:
You have strong leadership skills and a track record of running a larger unit.
You are structured and collaborative, with the ability to balance strategic planning and thinking with hands-on execution of plans and decision-making.
You have experience of running an IT development organisation and is knowledgeable around agile ways of working and IT development processes.
Solid experience from handling senior stakeholder expectations, building trust, and creating a positive solution-oriented work environment.
Solid experience from driving transformation affecting many areas and the ability to set a direction and deliver on defined targets.
Good understanding of customer behaviour and customer experience in a banking perspective.
Result oriented – you create commitment and trust at all levels, both inside and outside your own organisation, to achieve results.
Excellent communication skills and great stakeholder management skills overall.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Academic degree within finance, engineering, management or another relevant field.
