Financial Risk Quant Analyst
Do you have a keen interest in financial markets and financial instruments? Are you interested in quantifying the impacts of Financial Risks, building, maintaining and analysing the models related to Financial Risks?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
Build a solid understanding among stakeholders about Financial Risk profile of a bank (Market, Liquidity, Capital and Counterparty Credit Risk);
Contribute to regular analysis and reporting on the Baltic and Country level Financial Risk profile of banks, communicate it to stakeholders and top management;
Contribute to the development, maintenance and regular updates to the internal quantitative models related to the Baltic Financial Risks;
Evaluate and quantify potential impacts of the changes in regulatory models related to Financial Risks;
Provide quantitative risk modelling support to the Baltic Financial Risk team, covering Market and Counterparty Credit Risks.
Continuously contribute to improvements of Financial Risk management processes, models and governance in Baltic entities;
Grow and develop your competence in Financial Risk management area.
What is needed in this role:
Academic degree in quantitative area;
To have a positive attitude and be strong team-player;
Ability to work independently, while actively collaborating with diverse cross-border teams within Risk, Treasury and Markets units;
Knowledge and hands-on experience with risk models, such as VaR, ES or other;
Good knowledge of financial markets products, specifically interest rate, FX, equity and commodity derivatives;
Knowledge of relevant risk frameworks, such as CRR, EBA, IRRBB/CSRBB, Basel IV/FRTB, etc;
Advanced skills in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Proficiency with programming languages for risk analysis and modelling, such as VBA/SQL/R/Python/Power BI or other;
Fluent in written and spoken English;
Progress towards or completion of FRM, CFA or similar relevant certifications is meriting.
