In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of the function responsible for developing and utilizing modern tools and technology, such as analytics and AI, where data is a foundational asset to help Swedbank combat financial crime and ensure cyber security.
  • Drive and coordinate data governance and data quality management efforts in alignment with business needs and strategy in close collaboration with cross-functional development teams to ensure progress towards key milestones.
  • Be the global business owner for definition and structure of data elements within the Anti Financial Crime information area; ensuring that critical data is identified, data is defined along with appropriate business rules, reference values as well as that personal data is identified and appropriately managed.
  • Collaborate with Information Managers across all IT domains on Enterprise Data Strategy as well as development and review of common frameworks.

What is needed in this role:

  • Degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience in areas pertaining to data governance, data quality management, metadata management, information modelling.
  • Expertise in time, dependency, and stakeholder management with a passion for problem solving.
  • Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication (to both technical and non-technical audiences) skills.
  • Experience coordinating IT processes/initiatives spanning several business areas and teams.
  • Ability to build networks and work collaboratively in a geographically distributed and diverse environment.
  • Understanding/experience of the business domain is meriting; finance, financial crime, cybersecurity as well as IT development using agile ways of working.
  • Fluency in English; verbal and written.
