Group Treasury (GT) is looking for a Development Manager to join Strategic Development unit (temporary position, 1,5 year).  

The unit is responsible for identification, planning and facilitation of the delivery on changes of strategic importance for the GT organization. Here, GT brings together the capabilities needed to support and enable GT strategic priorities, with a focus on the sustainability and funding programmes management process. 

GT is a matrix organisation operating across Swedbank´s home markets in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, responsible for the bank’s funding, capital, financial risks and liquidity management.

 In this role you have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate operational risk management issues on behalf of Group Treasury unit in cooperation with CFO Operational Risk Manager
  • Support the management of Group Treasury and CFO office in operational risk area, specifically, in risk identification, monitoring, mitigation and reporting, and incident management
  • Be a single point of contact in Group Treasury communication with 2nd and 3rd line operational risk stakeholders
  • Be responsible for project management, business analysis, regulatory change analysis, business architecture and change management support at Group Treasury wherever it is required in the change lifecycle
  • Support Group Treasury´s mission to jointly deliver on challenging projects of strategic importance, including Group Treasury´s sustainability strategy

What is needed in this role:

  • University education, business degree or similar
  • At least 4 years of experience from working with business development matters in a financial institution, or a consultancy firm
  • Knowledge and understanding of the operational risk framework, and Group Treasury function
  • Competency in working with sustainability regulation applicable for banking operations is a significant advantage
  • Strategic mindset combined with good networking and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and willingness to build relationships across businesses and divisions
