Are you curious about operational Risk Management and have experience from Markets business processes? 

 In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Provide support and advice regarding operational risk management activities to Markets business unit who consolidates the responsibility for Corporate & Retail Sales; Fixed Income strategy, sales & trading; FX strategy, sales & trading; and XVA.
  • Work with and develop the Rogue Trading monitoring process ensuring that we monitor and capture key risk indicators of Rogue Trading behavior patterns.
  • Develop skills and learn about methodology and hands-on work with supporting the business in understanding and mitigating operational risks. 
  • Be part of and learn from a team with specialists with various backgrounds working with a broad range of risk management activities including risk assessments, risk reporting, incident management, Business Continuity Management, third party risk management, IT risk management etc. 
  • Together with the team develop ways of working within risk management striving to be perceived as a top-performing risk management department providing value-adding services to the business
  • Widen your network in LC&I including our international branches and other parts of the Swedbank Group.

What is needed in this role:

  • Relevant University degree, MSc or similar in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business or Legal
  • At least five years experience from working with activities within or in close connection to Markets or Investment Banking areas
  • Analytic, driven, thorough, fast learner
  • Be a team player with a very communicative approach
  • Experience from leading workshops, performing trainings and compiling and presenting reports to management
  • Sufficient experience and seniority to challenge the business in a constructive way and to drive and promote putting operational risk management activities on the management agenda
  • A curious mindset and interest to really get to know the business and build relationships and support Markets management and staff in understanding and assessing risks within our business
  • People management skills, social and advanced communication (writing and presentations)
  • Strong interest for Markets products and the financial industry
  • Knowledge of LC&Is business, including customers, products and processes is a merit
  • Swedsec license is a merit
  • Knowledge in external and internal regulations relevant for the Markets area is a merit
  • Positive attitude is a must
