Develop in the area of Custody/ fund execution in the role as Account Manager.

The objective of the role is to ensure the performance of duties of Swedbank, the role of the account manager is to act as specialist for our Fund Desk function/offer. The account manager is expected to maintain close contact with our clients and counterparties.

As an account manager you will:

  • Open accounts.
  • Administrate fund orders from our clients and take care of forwarding the instruction to the given counterparty.
  • Take care of the cash flow for redemptions or subscriptions.
  • Ensure that all internal procedures are met when new clients / TAs/ Intermediaries are introduced, all contact databases and system data is maintained correctly.
  • Be responsible that generated work tasks are dealt with on a timely basis so that client orders are validated and released to the market within deadlines.
  • Discuss with the clients any requirements outside of the standard order flow and to react to their needs.
  • Work against very specific deadlines and requires skills to ensure that client orders are collected and submitted to the provider within the cut off time.
  • Take responsibility for your own work and show initiative, creativity and participation in the team and departments development.
  • Work towards quality, risk mitigation and efficiency and constantly strive for development and improvements.
  • Represent Swedbank in a professional manner and focus on client satisfaction in order to meet their expectations.

What is needed in this role:

Education and professional experience:

  • University degree in the field of Economics, Finance or Law.
  • Work experience from order handling and dealing with professional clients investing into fund units.
  • SwedSec specialist licence.
  • Ability to use Office software (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) on an experienced level.

  • Strategic mind-set, combined with good networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Good client and presentation skills
  • High degree of stress tolerance combined with high level of motivation and perseverance.
  • Professional.
  • Proactive approach.

Language skills

  • Professional command of the English language, written and oral and;
  • Professional command of the Swedish language, written and oral
