  • Identify, analyse and assess risks and internal controls.
  • Write audit reports, agree findings and actions with the organization and communicate audit results to responsible management.
  • Provide input to annual and continuous risk assessment, planning and quarterly reporting.

What you need in this role:

  • Experience from the banking business or financial industry, in general, and specific knowledge within one or more particular areas such as banking core processes, anti-money laundering, risk management, compliance, IT and information security and other, or
  • Experience from one of the big four auditing firms with special experience from the financial industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Latvian and English.
  • Project management and analytical skills as well as ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good audit methodology knowledge, communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a related field.
  • Willingness to work in international teams and travel.
  • Certifications such as CIA, CFA, CAMS, CISA, approved/chartered accountant are considered as a bonus.
