Chief Product Owner to Consumer Payments

Are you passionate about Consumer Payments, leading other leaders and want to be at the centre of a large transformation journey?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • As a level 4 manager lead the two value streams for Consumer Payments (approximately 100 FTEs divided between Sweden and the Baltic countries) and represent Consumer Payments in Daily Banking’s management team (a division in Digital Banking & IT)
  • Direct reporting, app. 10 managers and specialists
  • Drive the transformation journey within P27 for Consumer Payments
  • Articulate and execute on the strategy for Consumer Payments
  • Have an end-to-end compliance and risk responsibility
  • Be responsible for end-to-end products in close collaboration with other business areas as well as back-end and front-end development by cooperating with IT and owners of other relevant systems
  • Co-ordinate and prioritize deliveries together with stakeholders in all operating countries and define the most efficient way of working within the value streams
  • Ensure IT services are aligned with the IT strategy, Swedbank Target Architecture and Business Domain Architecture
  • Define Cross Functional Teams (CFT) mission and area of responsibilities and assure CFT possess the right competences and resources
  • Develop, maintain, prioritize, and follow up on the roadmap for the value streams, run Value Stream Forum and continue implementing SAFe throughout the value streams
  • Realize value and continuous follow up/report result and progress
  • Participate in steering committees and other fora in and outside the bank, related to the Payment area

What is needed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Strong leadership skills with a senior leader mindset and experience in leading other leaders and distributed teams working from remote
  • Documented success in driving business related transformations
  • Vast experience and interest within the Payments area both from a technical and commercial perspective
  • Thorough understanding of IT, technology, and product management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven experience and knowledge within change management
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and describe complex matters in a pedagogical way and a customer-oriented approach to solve problems
  • Fluent English is required as well as fluency in one of our home market languages; Swedish, Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian
