Do you want to make your mark on user interfaces that reach millions of people every day? We’re looking for an accomplished senior UX Lead Designer with a broad skillset and a big-picture-mindset to lead and coordinate the experience for the Internetbank.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Create a vision for the user experience in the Internetbank, unleashing the customer value of the Internetbank as a digital channel, in relation to our other channels and contribute to the omni-channel strategy. This work is done in collaboration with other UX Leads for channel and products.
  • Support with knowledge and experience in methods, activities and ways of working to deliver user centered solutions and applying a Design Thinking mindset.
  • When the UX team is growing; lead, coach and mentor UX designers within the Internetbank team.
  • Secure a goal oriented and data driven ways of working in user experience.
  • Support designers to balance product and channel vision and goals.
  • Collaborating with other designers and stakeholders to make sure products and services are presented in a consistent way in the Internetbank and coherent cross digital channels.
  • Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders in order to create an overview and understanding of product roadmaps and upcoming development in the Internetbank.
  • Based on customer insights, design the core and channel generic user experience, including navigation and information architecture of the Internetbank in close relation to our external web, by using design methods like card sorting, sketches, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, flow diagrams, etc.
  • Work with and contribute to continuous development of the digital brand platform, in close collaboration with the Design System team and Branding teams to ensure a consistent, strong brand experience cross our digital channels.
  • Bottom line; safeguard the holistic user experience of our Internetbank.
  • Last but not least; be part of and contribute to the Swedbank UX Community with close to 80+ designers working on all our different digital touchpoints and growing the design field in the bank. 

What is needed in this role:

  • A firm grasp of designing a cross channel experience.
  • Experience from working with information architecture and navigation patterns.
  • Great communication skills and an ability to argue for the value of a design solution.
  • Excellent knowledge of design patterns and modern digital design.
  • Able to formulate effect goals for a product/service and connect them to end users and features (i.e. Impact Mapping).
  • Fluency using design tools like Sketch and InVision.
  • Broad experience from different parts of the design process – user research, usability testing, concepts, wireframing and preferably also UX writing.
  • Skilled people person in collaborating with many different stakeholders, coordinating and connecting people.
  • Empathy and an interest for the end user.
  • Preferably experience from building design systems.
  • Pragmatic mindset and ability to move between a strategic level and concrete design tasks.
  • It is beneficial to have experience from working within a larger company/organization.
  • Proficient in English and Swedish.
