In us you have the opportunity to:

  • Work with our multi-language Virtual assistant with conversational AI and Live chat service that makes it easy for people to take care of their daily banking wherever and whenever. Be part of taking this world class customer experience to a complete new level in our team.
  • Be part of a dedicated and creative cross-functional agile team that drives the development of Swedbank’s Virtual assistant service. Together you will be responsible for providing the technical solution, anchoring it with our architects, implementation, quality assurance, as well as further maintenance and further developing the service with a high focus on our customers
  • Focus mainly on developing back-end application using Java/Spring.
  • Proactively reduce the technical depths
  • Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building, and maintaining software
  • Get, and continue to gain, good knowledge of the business
  • Design software following architecture principles
  • Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems

What is needed in this role:

  • university degree in computer science, information technology, software development or similar
  • 5+ years of Back-End development experience using Java/Spring
  • experience in developing REST APIs
  • knowledge in JavaScript, Angular and HTML
  • experience with Openshift
  • caring about software engineering best practices (testing, clean code, code reviews, CI/CD)
  • self-going, quick learner, motivated, positive and open-minded with excellent communication skills
  • strong sense of responsibility and commitment
  • good English language skills
  • experience with Agile development, including continuous integration and coding for automated testing
  • good knowledge of banking business logic and processes, system logics and technical infrastructure
