What is needed in this role:

  • Deep knowledge and documented experience from working in Financial crime prevention and investigation, preferably within the fraud area.
  • Deep knowledge in international payments and fraud trends, applicable regulations, and legislation. Specifically, in Swedish banking products and processes.
  • Interest in current and future technology that enables fraud and fraud prevention. Experience with advanced anti-fraud tools is meriting.
  • Core banking background or other customer centric work is a plus.
  • Team player, with strong self-motivated drive to be creative and curious and looking to anticipate and prevent, rather than to react.

be part of a team of dedicated professionals, who excels in protecting our customers and the bank from all kinds of external fraud threats. As Senior Fraud Officer in the Swedish fraud team you are working with the anti-fraud prevention processes in Sweden in terms of external fraud in our customer channels and banking products and services. We work with a wide array of fraud related topics, in both the small and less complex matters as well as with the more technologically and regulatory advanced. Investigations, analysis, complex case handling, reporting, product fraud risk assessment and supporting BA’s/PA’s with fraud related questions are parts of your tasks. You will also be an important source of knowledge and support for fraud officers within the team. You work in a smaller local Swedish team of fraud fighters but is also expected to contribute to the overall goals of Group Fraud Management.

We deliver a world class fraud prevention and investigation, while contributing to lowering inherent product risk, increasing customer value, and making sure we are compliant with current and future legislation. In AFC you have the chance to take responsibility for your own working days in the local team but is also expected to contribute to the overarching fraud prevention function across the bank.
