Do you want to make your mark on user interfaces that reach millions of people? We’re looking for an accomplished UX designer with a broad skillset and the right mindset to create outstanding user experiences in our digital channels, with focus on external websites and intranets!

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Together with other designers and stakeholders find solutions for how to guide and support our customers in a consistent and comprehensive way in our websites, as well as to ensure that the Swedbank’s intranets enables Swedbank employees to guide and support our customers in their everyday financial life
  • Design user experiences that ensures consistency, by collaborating across the organisation, features and when needed between channels
  • Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders in order to create an understanding of product roadmaps and upcoming development of sites and the intranet.
  • Collaborate and support with colleague designers on design decisions related to product vision and help create consistent experiences across channels.
  • Develop an understanding of end user goals, needs and behaviours as well as ideation by planning and executing user research activities like interviews, workshops, observations, usability tests, surveys, etc
  • Design the user experience by using design methods like sketches, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, flow diagrams, etc
  • Work with and contribute to continuous development of the digital brand platform, in close collaboration with the Design system and Branding teams to ensure a coherent experience cross our digital interfaces
  • Bottom line; safeguard the holistic user experience of our websites and the intranet
  • Last but not least; be part of, contribute to and continuously develop in the Swedbank UX Community with close to 80 designers working on all our different digital touchpoints

What is needed in this role:

  • 5 years experience of user centered design work
  • A firm grasp of mobile UX best practices and patterns
  • Broad experience from different parts of the design process – user research, usability testing, moderating workshops to collect ideas and needs, design concepts through high-level wireframes and final UI design
  • An interest in collaborating with many different stakeholders, coordinating and connecting people
  • Great communication skills
  • Empathy and an interest for the end user as well as having a design-for-all mindset
  • Preferably experience from building and improving design systems
  • Pragmatic mindset and ability to move between a strategic level and concrete design tasks
  • It is beneficial to have experience from working within a larger company/organization
  • Fluency using design tools like Sketch and InVision
  • Proficient in English and Swedish
