In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

    • Work with data analysis and data development that enable the Bank’s overall work with combatting Financial Crime,
    • Shape the Bank’s journey in the Financial Crime area by maintaining and further developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and applicable thresholds, including analysing and interpreting different KRIs in the Bank,
    • Conduct independent model validation of AML/CTF and sanctions screening area systems and models,
    • Assess model risk from the aspects of model usage and methodology, model assumptions and limitations, data relevancy and completeness, model implementation, model performance as well as ongoing performance monitoring,
    • Proactively advise and challenge the business in its modelling activities, striving for the highest standards in model quality, maintenance and change processes,
    • Develop, analyse and manage applications (e.g. QlikeSense) for risk assessment, reporting and follow-up of Financial Crime risks,
    • Develop, analyse and manage applications for risk assessments and reporting of Financial Crime risks.

    What is needed in this role:

    • University degree; economics, financial mathematics, statistics, technical degree or equivalent,
    • Experience in data analysis and modeling,
    • Experience of graphical representation of data as well as experience of working with dashboards and visualization tools such as QlikSense or Power BI,
    • Machine learning knowledge is preferred,
    • Knowledge of Python and/or R is considered as an advantage,
    • Knowledge and experience of working in any Anti-Financial Crime area,
    • An ability to understand patterns, trends and behaviours within Financial Crime,
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English,
    • Have a structured and creative mind, a humble attitude and a strong belief in cooperation as the best approach to solve a problem, 
    • A strong drive and enjoy working in a high paced operational environment.
