About the job:


You’ll be working in a group of ambitious individuals with different role. Swedbank’s Proactive Recommendations Applications (Digital Banking & IT) is responsible for implementing marketing automation applications across all home markets. As a lot of the work is highly dependent on data and sourcing the right data to Pega Marketing we are therefore looking for a highly skilled Software engineer (ETL) who likes to dig into details for our implementation team in Baltics. You (together with dedicated business analyst) will have responsibility of data model used for our Marketing Automation Tool. From integrations to structure, logical model to ETL's from data sources (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Mainframe, etc.) to maintenance; You will be the one of the most important pieces in day-to-day work for Pega Marketing.


Main responsibilities are:  

  • Ability to translate requirements into development tasks
  • Understand and develop Pega Marketing data model and what data we have today
  • Experience with databases and ETL tools, preferably Informatica;
  • Be passionate about the field and truly believe that success is something that can only be reached by working closely with others;
  • Experience with noSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra) would be an advantage;
  • Work with incidents and maintenance connected to data development
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English;


What you need to succeed:


We’re looking for a structured, self-motivated person, with good logical mind who thrives on problem solving, data development and feels comfortable with managing planned and ad-hoc challenges from start to finish. A strong driver who is used to continuously prioritize, communicate and make decisions.


You have a relevant university degree within computer science or similar and/or proven multiyear work experience with ETL development.


Excellent communication skills and being fluent in English, both written and oral, is crucial. Adding on a positive attitude, then we certainly want to meet you.  


What you may have worked with previously:


Proven work experience with data warehouse (preferably Teradata), Oracle database, ETL development (preferably Informatica) and maintenance. It is a plus, if you have worked with Data Lake technology.

If you would be hired in Lithuania he salary for this position would range 3200 - 4800 eur/moth gross*


* In Swedbank salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position, and depends on the level of competence, experience of the candidate, country market situation and local tax system. Salary is one part of the overall remuneration including variety of other benefits and many opportunities provided by Swedbank.
