We are seeking a to find several colleagues (with junior and/or senior experience) to join our team. This position is perfect both for business analysts and similar professionals who are eager to use their analytical talents to create solutions and lead Data Domain topics. And this position is a match for those who excel in deep diving into data, data lineage and seeing the truth behind information.
In Customer Data Domain Data Steward role at Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive solution-focused discussions
- Define data definitions and establish governance practices for managing critical data elements within the Customer Domain scope
- Lead initiatives that directly contribute to Swedbank’s future as a truly data-driven enterprise
- Participate and organize meetings and working groups to coordinate efforts and drive strategic decisions
- Gather requirements from various departments to understand their specific data needs
- Establish and implement data standards, rules, and quality requirements
- Identify and document key business processes and applications related to Customer Domain scope
- Identify potential gaps for application, technical, business lineage and drive remediation activities
In this position, you won't just work with data; you'll actively shape how we manage, govern, and extract value from it. Collaborating with colleagues across various units, you will take part in establishing a robust framework for handling Customer Domain and Master Data, ensuring that critical data remains reliable, consistent, and drives significant business value.
What is needed in this role:
- An academic degree in data science, computer science, finance, economics or related fields—or have proven experience in these areas
- Familiarity with data management practices, preferable with experience within the banking sector
- Experience implementing robust data standards, rules, and quality requirements
- Understanding of database modelling and design principles
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret complex data structures, identify inconsistencies/discrepancies, troubleshoot issues across workflows
- Proficiency in English for cooperation with Group and Baltic colleagues
